I've been involved in photography off and on over the last 30 years thanks to the influence and inspiration of my father. My love for taking pictures was rekindled a few years ago with the purchase of my first SLR digital camera. The instant feedback digital photography gives me, and the control I have over my own editing, has made the process of creating my images even more exciting. I spend a lot of time outdoors and enjoy activities such as canoeing, hiking, cycling and cross country skiing. This gives me many opportunities to observe the world around me and continually inspires me to search for new ways to transform the beauty of my environment into images people can enjoy.

Although a lot of my photography involves nature, I also enjoy the challenge of photographing people and architecture.
