Mark Connors is a Sudbury-born artist who currently lives in Huntsville, Ontario. He is a graphic arts graduate, multi-media abstract painter, and an electric/acoustic composer in the ambient music genre.

In essence, the artwork of Mark Connors represents the flow of the energies. That is why he is compelled to paint abstract pieces, or images that are symbolic in nature. His acrylic chakra paintings are direct symbolic examples of the energy that flows in the human body.

As an artist, Mark is more interested in painting techniques than in subject matter. "The viscosity of paint is particularly appealing to me. I use the brush with a combination of control and wild abandon, letting gravity take the paint to where I will it to go, or not go, in which case I have to wipe it away and start again. Wiping pigment away is as important to my paintings as applying it."

Mark's abstract paintings, like his ambient music, takes you on a journey that conjures up thoughts and emotions, casting a glimpse into the mirror of the elemental realms, which also may be considered as "the flow of the energies."
