I'm a self taught artist who is
passionate about art and nature. I work in acrylic on
canvas. My goal is to share the incredible beauty of our
rich, vast and diverse Canadian landscape.
My intention with landscape painting is
to share and express my love for nature, whether it be
the serenity of a Muskoka lake, the colourful, rugged
shoreline of Georgian Bay, or the rolling hay fields of
Ontario's farmland. To successfully capture the essence
of the place and share it with you is my goal.
Another area of interest is portraiture.
Every good portrait tells a story. Rather than formal
portraits, mine are usually situational; I try to
capture a particular moment or emotion in my subject's
day. I look for those everyday experiences that we all
share, and by expressing the character and the essence
of the moment, tell a story we can all relate to.
