Kevin
had an interest in art from an early age. In his teenage years,
he often went on sketching trips along the Rouge Valley. At the
age of 16, Kevin entered the drawing competition at the Canadian
National Exhibition in Toronto and won first place for a drawing
of a pioneer stump fence.
Kevin
attended high school at Wexford Collegiate Institute in Toronto.
Here he studied life drawing, mixed media and graphic design.
Kevin has always included minute detail in his work. One of his
teachers once commented that his pencil sketches were
'scrimshaw-like' because of the intricate detail.
Kevin
specializes in landscapes, old buildings and cottages using pen
& ink, pencil or watercolours. Commissioned work is
welcomed. Limited edition prints of some work are available.
Kevin joined Muskoka Arts & Crafts in February of 2006.
Kevin's
work is available at the Eclipse Art & Design Gallery in
Huntsville and For the Love
of Art in Port Carling.
