Techniques, and materials vary greatly, as do the intentions and abilities of the artist. The value of paintings also varies greatly, both historically, and monetarily. There are many other factors, but environment and time dominate, in their demise. At which point, who do you call? The Painting Doctor.

Roger Pearce has 35 years of painting experience with oil and acrylic. During this time, he has acquired an extensive knowledge of restoration techniques and archival practices.

New Horizons Call From Distant Shores
This image of my daughter Erika, expresses my feelings about life, both emotionally, and philosophically. It also represents the direction my work has taken, namely Digital Imaging, in 2D and 3D software. To me, the eternal questions of where did we come from and where are we going, are still the most compelling. I am a digger, a seeker of truth, and my artwork is an expression of this philosophy.
