| Born in Toronto,
Ontario, David Raithby has shown a perceptive interest in nature and
photography since a young age.
David actively involved in
supporting the current park system, supporting keeping wild lands wild
through the "Big Wild" initiative and is the co-chair of a
project to create a world class hiking trail along the coast of Georgian
Bay.
David’s artistic eye allows
him to capture light and balance in exceptional photographic moments and
creative watercolour painting. He has the unique ability to make the
ordinary, extraordinary. His distinctive works represent his compassion
for the outdoors and are shown in galleries and private collections
throughout Ontario.
He is also, one of a group of
invited artist participating in the "Impression" exposition in
support of Massasauga Provincial Park. This show runs from in the summer
at the Stockey Centre in Parry Sound.
He now resides in the village
of Muskoka Falls in Bracebridge, Ontario. |
