"I believe we are all creative, we are all great and there is enough for everyone.
I believe in the spirit of living
and in the balance of all things."
-
"Through the arts we clearly access our true potential and connect with our creative source."
-
"I believe we can use our creativity to enrich our personal & professional lives. Over the past twenty years my collection of workshops has evolved to assist
people of all ages, ability, and walks of life to unlock their innate creativity in a comfortable and highly effective way. The wholistic combination of doing attainable and successful processes exponentially increases all levels of benefits. The immediate results have long lasting effects, thus making my workshops unique and very powerful."
-
"Art, painting, music, dance, math, science, nature, living, playing are all
connected - they are part of life, my existence / my awakefulness. Experiencing life and painting opens up a keener awareness of my world
around me. After twenty five years, artistic exploration still intrigues me and
holds my heart. During this time my art has evolved along with me. There is a
truth in art that we can not hide from."
-
"My vision and
spirit feel clean and clear in the listening. Today I celebrate an awareness in
which I am in total awe of creation. The excitement for me is to allow
this flow of energy of what I see and hear to be translated into a visual
image."

Born in Koln, Germany, international artist Elke Scholz has spent twenty six years painting, teaching fine arts
and managing her successful art studio in Canada. She has won many awards and recognition for her
paintings. Elke has had her work and articles published in over twelve national magazines and books. She now
lives in Bracebridge, Ontario with her family. The dynamic spirit of her work is a reflection of her life. Rich fine
oil and watercolour paintings are sure and strong. Subjects include traditional and non traditional views of life
stories.
She believes that through the arts we can clearly access our true potential. All her life, she has
understood the
connection between the arts and living, for her the elements interconnect at every
level and she is able to
simplify concepts and relay them to people in a simple, approachable way.

In her paintings " she (has) moved from a dependency on object and idea in the making
of art to a fundamental
celebration of the act itself," remarks Gerald Allaby.
Elke loves to paint outdoors and connect with nature. Knowing and understanding
foundational and technical drawing and painting
skills is important. Just like knowing how to blow into a flute or press piano keys or position yourself for a tennis volley.
Being
free to express yourself and play with art together with the knowledge is an exciting place to be. At home
Elke plays with paints and colours because it’s fun. Her play time keeps
Elke excited about her life and her world around me.
Being free to express herself the way
Elke wants keeps her creative juices flowing and keeps her open to the endless possibilities of
life.
